Job Description:
Apica is looking for a Controller to further enhances Apica’s finance operations and support the integration of recent and future acquired companies. The role will span across Apica’s operations in Sweden, US and India and you will be instrumental to provide accurate data and information for Apica leadership team decision making. You will be key in making sure Apica can provide a consistent, accurate and highly transparent reporting to investors and the Board. You will be the key person for keeping ARR, revenue and customer data up to date. Finance, including the Controller, plays an important role in driving insights out of numbers resulting in sound business decisions as well as acting policymaker making sure internal and external frameworks are implemented and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Apica’s Order-to-Cash (O2C) process including Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), revenue recognition and invoicing as well as system owner of key applications.
- You will make sure that Apica always have accurate customer data, ARR and revenue
- You will ensure an efficient invoicing and collection process
- Together with Apica’s CFO and Group Controller, perform monthly Board and investor reporting and coordinating Apica’s monthly closing.
- Help with monthly KPI and reporting to leadership team (primarily to the sales and marketing team).
- Own Apica’s vendor management/procurement process and handle all Apica’s suppliers and contract follow-up
- We will ask you to drive improvement projects primarily linked to customer contracts/revenue/ARR and vendor management

Profile description (experience and personal skills):
You should have the following background and interests:
- Finance and Business degree with 2-4 years of working experience.
- Experience from the software industry is an advantage and subscription business models (ARR etc).
- You should have experience of an international business environment, preferably a US company
- You have a good understanding of finance processes and accounting frameworks.
- We like you to be system savvy and curious by nature.
- We are looking for an ambitious person with a can-do attitude.
- You are a self-driven person who acts proactively and takes ownership of processes and tasks.
- You like structure and orderliness; you pay attention to details while not losing track of the bigger picture.
- Fluent in English (verbally and in writing).
