Mathias
Mathias Thomsen CEO
Mathias is the CEO and former Chairman of the Board at Apica, where he oversees all aspects of the business, including its growth strategy. With over 25 years of experience, he is a serial entrepreneur and trusted advisor with extensive expertise in the B2B software, IoT, automotive, and telecommunications sectors. His work has spanned across Europe, the US, Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Additionally, Mathias is a Co-Founder and Chairman of Live Arena Technologies and a Partner at Draw Capital. He was also a Co-Founder and Chairman of Live Arena Sports, acquired by Sportway Media Group, and Co-Founder and CEO of Fogg Mobile, acquired by Airlinq. His previous roles include Associate Partner at Applied Value and Co-Founder and Partner at the procurement consultancy firm PIR.

Patrik Edvinson CFO
Patrik oversees the finance and business support functions at Apica, where he develops processes and monitors the execution of strategies to foster sustainable business growth. With 20 years of experience in international finance operations across various industries and private equity/venture capital-backed companies, he brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Prior to joining Apica, Patrik served as CFO at Bisnode, an international tech company specializing in data and analytics. He has a proven track record of strengthening organizations and teams with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement, ensuring that the company’s performance aligns with its strategic goals.

Andi Mann CPTO
Andi is Chief Product and Technology Officer at Apica, where he focuses on building the future of observability solutions that help enterprises regain control over their telemetry data while significantly reducing costs. He brings over 20 years of cross-functional leadership experience in enterprise software, with expertise spanning product engineering, product marketing, corporate communications, and business operations. Prior to joining Apica, Andi held leadership positions at BMC Software, Splunk, CA Technologies, and Qumu, demonstrating a proven track record of building products from idea to cash and driving enterprise technology transformation through product management and go-to-market strategy.

John Peterson CSO
As Chief Sales Officer at Apica, John brings over 30 years of technology sales leadership experience, specializing in helping organizations simplify their telemetry data management through Apica Ascent. He works directly with enterprises to streamline observability strategies and maximize telemetry investment value, having progressed from Regional VP of Sales to his current global role at Apica. John previously held senior sales positions at Cisco Systems and other leading technology companies.

As Chief Operating Officer at Apica, Matt leads the company’s operational strategy to drive scalable growth and cultivate software delivery excellence. With a deep focus on building mature processes, he is dedicated to optimizing critical aspects of the business. His leadership ensures that Apica’s operations are not only efficient and resilient but also aligned to deliver a superior customer experience and secure the company’s position as a leader in the telemetry pipeline market. Prior to joining Apica, Matt served in senior leadership roles at DXC Technology, Moogsoft, and Subex.

Ben drives Apica’s global marketing strategy, positioning, and execution, guiding the company’s brand and market growth in the highly competitive observability and enterprise IT industry. With over 20 years of leadership experience in B2B technology marketing, he is a proven marketing executive skilled at shaping go-to-market strategies, building category differentiation, and driving measurable business impact. At Apica, Ben leads global integrated marketing, communications, and brand programs that amplify customer value, accelerate pipeline, and strengthen market presence. Prior to joining Apica, he served as Account Director at Connect Marketing, where he developed and executed digital marketing strategies for leading enterprise technology companies, helping them expand market reach and achieve sustained growth.
