With ZebraTester–our load testing tool–you can now define a set of URLs as a transaction, allowing you to mark sections in the recorded sessions using user-defined transactions in the GUI. By specifying transactions this way you can start at any URL and end at any succeeding URL or page.
Later, when you execute the load test, performance data of such sections are separately measured capturing the transaction time and the number of transactions. This enhanced ability to captured transaction data provides greater visibility into scenarios ensuring specific business needs and programs are being met.
For example, if you define a transaction for a login procedure, you can measure how many logins per second have been performed during the load test. This is very useful for when you want to see data during specific parts of a scenario.
Similarly, you will be able to see how many times the transaction was completed during the load test with details indicating if it was a Full Pass, Failed Pass, and more.
With the enhanced support of data in LTP, it is now possible to see all of your transactions and detailed data belonging to these transactions. Meaning, you will be able to use transactions to further customize scenarios and analyze the results directly in the load test portal.
