The study found that half (49 percent) of consumers believe the best thing retailers can do to improve the shopping experience is to better integrate in-store, online and mobile shopping channels. An overwhelming 89 percent of consumers said it is important for retailers to let them shop for products in the way that is most convenient for them, no matter which sales channel they choose.
We recently integrated our Apica WebPerformance Monitor with eCommerce software from VE Interactive to enable a full view on the online shopping experience. We believe that online retailers need to evolve to stay competitive and that very few consumers will tolerate slow websites with response times above a few seconds. Being able to fully monitor the site is only one piece of the puzzle, but as said before: The Devil is in the details …
Happy Shopping !
