Earlier this week, Amazon added a brand new Amazon Web Services (AWS) Region to its Global Infrastructure. The Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region, as it is being called, offers important benefits to organizations operating in this area. Companies can run their cloud-based applications through the new AWS data center to reduce latency and other performance issues for local users without having to own and operate their own costly infrastructure.
The new AWS Region is great news for Apica customers as well, who can now use the Amazon Cloud to test and monitor their websites and applications to see how they perform for users in Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. In fact, as an Amazon Web Services partner, we’re proud to offer performance management services, tools, and support from all nine AWS Regions (plus more than 100 other locations) across the globe to ensure an optimal user experience regardless of location. Soon, customers also will be able to load test from AWS Sydney to determine the capacity and scalability of their web apps.
If you’d like to add the AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region Agent to your web performance monitoring, you can do so immediately within your Apica ProxySniffer/LoadTest portal.
