About the role

We are now looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in Stockholm, who will be part of our global team of technical experts. In your role as a Scrum Master at Apica you will focus on running daily and weekly scrum activities and developing our agile process to make sure we stay on top and deliver with confidence.

What you will be doing day-to-day:  

  • Work closely with stakeholders and different teams across the whole company
  • Work as part of an amazing, high-performance cross-functional development team
  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
  • Contribute and make sure we follow agile methodologies for all stages of the software life cycle: design, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance

You are expected to: 

  • Run daily and weekly agile events such as stand-ups, grooming, sprint and release planning, and retrospectives.
  • Define and maintain our agile methodology handbook, so that we take a pragmatic and adapted approach to the latest thinking and evolution in agile product development.
  • Help train the business in agile approach and tools
  • Help develop processes and procedures across the business to maximize the effectiveness of the business and make the work efforts of all staff visible and transparent.
  • Enable an effective process and workflow for unplanned and emergency tasks.
  • To manage product development initiatives and internal business improvement projects so that they achieve the project success criteria within time and budget in-line with the Apica project management methodology
  • Monitor project and agile methodology adoption continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Customize our Jira instance to align with Apica agile methodology handbook

Who you are:  

  • We believe you are a positive self-driven team player who likes to run and own projects and initiatives
  • You have experience in working with Agile methodologies and practices
  • You have experience working with Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira)
  • You understand business and technology
  • You have a strong organizational and planning skills
  • You have strong documentation, communication, and relationship building skills
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Agile Certification(s) is a plus.
