2014 was an exciting year at Apica, but it couldn’t have been possible without our clients’ continued support. Thank you!

Important Feature Updates from the Past Year
Apica LoadTest
TeamCity Plugin
The TeamCity plugin integrates continuous deployment testing directly into TeamCity, making it possible to run automatic load tests in the form of a build runner. The plugin initiates and monitors a load test from start to finish, after which it presents actionable results and statistics.
“Automation is a big thing for all companies. With our TeamCity integration, performance can be tracked over releases and potential issues spotted earlier in development, which increases the overall stability” said Erik Torlén, VP R&D Apica.
New Relic Partner Integration
The partnership integrates load testing with internal application monitoring to better analyze application and key transaction performance. View New Relic APM data alongside Apica Load Test data in the LoadTest Portal.
Live Test Dashboard (BETA)
See exactly what you’re testing, in real time. Pages & URLs can now be viewed in the new Live Test Dashboard, as well as any errors occurring in real time.
Other prominent updates include:
- Scenario Manager
- LoadTest Portal API
- New Metric Browser
Apica WebPerformance – Synthetic Monitoring
URL v2
URL v2 is now available. It includes many new features, such as saving and applying headers, timings and much more. You can find it on the “New Check” page.
Analyze Metrics: Improved Saving & Sharing Functionality
Analyze Metrics is a new feature that will let you perform more advanced comparisons between checks using different metrics (size, time etc). Saving and sharing functionalities have also been improved.
New DNS checks
Apica WebPerformance 6.7 offers nine new DNS check types to help customers better stay on top of DNS management. These include checks for AAAA and PTR records, delegation, MX records, serial numbers, domain expiration dates, response times (for both IPv4 and IPv6), and recursion (IPv4 and IPv6).
