Civil Service and the Online Experience

by | July 6, 2017

The Apica team is looking forward to attending the government’s annual, cross-department learning event, Civil Service Live.

The event, which takes place on 11-12 July at QEII Centre, London, attracts thousands of civil servants to learn, network and share best practice – with the ultimate goal of providing better public service.

Government and Civil Service institutions are at the forefront of industries working to digitally transform their service offering. Essentially, Governments are changing the way that they deliver services to end users, working to move traditionally paper-based processes, such as completing forms, fully online to enable customers to directly access assistance.

As Governments make the transition to online service, they need to ensure that their online performance is optimized to securely handle the private nature of transactions. Further, websites need to ensure they are equipped to handle the volume of traffic, particularly at peak times, such as voting registration.

The theme of this year’s content is ‘A Brilliant Civil Service’, which aims to highlight the progress departments have made working to achieve their vision of brilliance, including enhanced online facilities, and the international context of that work.

Having recently become a part of the G-Cloud9 Marketplace Framework, which grants public sector organizations access to cloud services and digital outcomes, Apica is well placed to discuss how Civil service departments can optimize digital customer experience.

The team will be at stand 35, so stop by and say hello or get in touch today to arrange a meeting with the team.
