Apica ProxySniffer AMI Now Available for AWS Users

PALO ALTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Apica, a leading load testing and performance monitoring provider for cloud and mobile applications, has released its AMI for Apica ProxySniffer, bringing mega load testing capabilities to Amazon Web Services users. By utilizing Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Apica ProxySniffer AMI offers Amazon customers the ability to instantly rent, on an hourly basis using their AWS credentials, extra load generators for 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000 simultaneous virtual users. By combining up to 100 load generator AMIs in a cluster, Apica ProxySniffer AMI can reach a total load of up to 1 million simultaneous virtual users for mega testing applications. This number makes Apica ProxySniffer capable of performing one of the largest load tests of any testing provider.

Load testing scripts can be easily recorded using the free ProxySniffer tool from Apica that doesn’t require any manual coding. Within 10 minutes, Amazon Web Services customers can create and execute a mega load test to ensure reliability and scalability and optimize application performance.
