Apica, a Swedish-based load testing and performance monitoring provider for cloud and mobile applications, has officially unveiled itself in the North American market.

With over 250 customers in the EMEA region, the company quietly opened up an office in Palo Alto and began operations on this continent in Q1 this year, but it has now come out of stealth with three announcements: a partnership with cloud computing manager provider RightScale through which Apica will provide start-of-the-art, custom-designed load testing and performance monitoring solutions for RightScale’s cloud management users, the launch of a new Apica iPhone app; and the announcement of a new SaaS-based Apica Watch Service, which monitors apps.
