Apica & Dynatrace Partner to Optimize Web & App Performance

by | September 13, 2010

Swedish IT company Apica has entered a reselling partnership with application performance management (APM) leader dynaTrace. Apica will be offering dynaTrace continuous APM solution to its customers and markets.

dynaTrace software, the technology leader in application performance management (APM), is partnering with Swedish web performance software company Apica to extend the reach of dynaTrace’s solution in the Swedish market. The new partnership gives Apica an advanced APM solution to market to its customers, while dynaTrace gets an opportunity to offer its continuous APM system to Apica’s strong client base. As a dynaTrace Reseller Partner, Apica will be able to help their clients optimize systems’ performance, get application releases to market faster and reduce system management costs while bringing business and IT closer together.

Apica is a leader in the Nordic market for load testing and web performance optimization.

dynaTrace’s continuous APM system transforms how applications are built, tested and managed by delivering in-depth visibility into the code-level performance and dynamic execution behavior of complex distributed applications. It will be integrated with Apica LoadTest to identify and rapidly resolve problems directly in the application code without the need for lengthy and costly manual efforts.

Unlike traditional APM tools, dynaTrace’s transaction-pure architecture is designed to optimize the performance of modern dynamic, distributed, composite applications by attacking performance problems at every step of the application lifecycle – in development, test and production.

“We are very pleased to partner with an innovative company like Apica to extend our reach in the Nordic region with more customers able to benefit from dynaTrace’s leading APM technology”, said Patrice Attia, dynaTrace’s Senior Director, Business Development & Alliances EMEA. “While companies’ results are increasingly driven by applications, the complexity of today’s systems is unmanageable with traditional APM tools. Apica’s deep understanding of load testing and web performance is an ideal complement to dynaTrace’s innovative technology. Together, they will tame this complexity and make excellent application performance a reality for our joint customers.”

“Our clients’ businesses depend on applications. The quality, performance, and time-to-market for those applications can be a competitive differentiator for them,” said Sven Hammar, Apica’s CEO. “We’ve partnered with dynaTrace to help our customers achieve a competitive advantage. dynaTrace’s unique approach of offering a single lifecycle performance management system that is used in development, test, and production means that our customers will benefit from eliminating problems before they impact users, rapidly resolving issues and getting new applications to market faster. dynaTrace’s proven success makes them an ideal partner for Apica and our customers”.
